Ashten Freeman born in San Antonio, TX and raised in Houston, TX. She began singing and performing live at the tender age of eight and soon realized her calling. She then began writing at the age of 13 and developed a love for penning her feelings and emotions. She broke out on the scene at The Juneteenth Festival at the young age of 16 and continued to work on her craft. She took a break from the music scene to be a mother. After her musical hiatus she decided to come back to the music scene stronger than ever with a better sense of self! Her goal is to be able to work alongside some of her favorite artists in the entertainment industry and to build a career doing what she loves most...singing and writing. Ashten's Sweet Nothings EP was released on Valentine's Day 2016. This project was put together to give fans a taste of what's to come as she works on her next album. Sweet Nothings features singles "Missing" (produced by Dwayne "Whateva" Lindsey) "U on U" parts I & II featuring Brian Angel of Day 26 (produced by Fred Council) and "Revolver" (produced by Strych9). She is gearing up to release quite a few collaborations in 2019 as well as a personal project of her own. Her new project, Anomaly EPisode 1 released December 2019 includes her leading single "Guestlist" following a series of videos to capture her story. Ashten wanted to give her fans a way to connect to her in a different way and to get a deeper understanding of who she is as a person and artist.
