Hakan Şatana was born on July 14, 1996 in Ankara. He began to be consciously interested in music at the age of 11 by playing electric guitar. He devoted his time to playing his favourite songs and performing with his friends. During his high school years, he participated in many music competitions with the band he was leading at the time and gained remarkable success. During the same period, he gave concerts in various genres from thrash metal to blues with different bands. As a result of his amateur efforts in high school, the pleasure and sense of success he got from music led him in to pick a career in music. He started his professional music education at the conservatory. His adventure which started with electric guitar went on with classical guitar studies. He also had an interest in jazz music. During his conservatory years he started to study jazz in both theory and practice. Currently, he is composing and arranging music.
