PARLAY PEP is an Alternative Rap artist based out of Austin, TX . He has been writing, recording & producing music for nearly a decade now - Both independently & with a slew of other creators. His early background in music was followed by him creating with friends as a hobby in High School. Though inspired by many genres of music & mediums of art - PARLAY leans heavily into the psychedelic, alternative, and electronic aspects of his influences. This melting pot of music encapsulates a maniacally meditative state of PARLAY’s personal perceptions regarding society, self, and his spirituality - All while providing a combination of diverse & serene sonics, witty wordplay, flawless flows, and self reflective (sometimes even charismatically cynical) lyricism. Formerly known as “cap.”, 2020 saw the official rebrand/streaming debut of PARLAY PEP - Which featured a double EP comprising of demos dating as far back as 2017. His debut album, “The Aquarian Anomaly.”, would release in late 2022, and featured a newfound emphasis on melodies, songwriting, and overall structure. The 2023 sequel, “Spiritual Warfare”, doubled down on these melodic & structural concepts, even including co-production from PARLAY himself. PARLAY started 2024 off with his third full-length, “Days Before Deprogramming”, an instrumentalist detour produced by him.
