Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, Rapper D.Boi of Double Up Entrepreneurs started taking music serious during middle school attending studio sessions with older friends from the neighborhood. At the time D.Boi was too young to get into clubs and was forced to pay extra to perform. Since then D.Boi has opened up for Project Pat, Bone Crusher, Pastor Troy and have met many industry artist. In 2008 D.Boi decided to take a college course in graphic design learning how to make cd cover artwork and mixtape graphics. In 2015 D.Boi started making beats and recording his own written lyrics to them making the song "original". During this time mixing & mastering was a problem and D.Boi thought it was just a bad quality of sound. Believe it or not D.Boi deleted all of his old songs off his computer and began paying for studio time. Recently D.Boi won 1st place at The Showcase Tour in Indianapolis, Indiana. D.Boi is currently working on songs, making beats and editing videos for mixtapes projects and future albums. His favorite saying is "I do this sh** to ni**a"
