Michael Lavel Williams Jr (b. August 29, 1983), better known by his stage name 89, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He first got into music at 22 years old. Four years later after working on a HBO show called Boondocks with Big Tank, Lawrence, Mars & James Fauntleroy from 1500 or Nothin he knew producing was what he wanted to pursue.
