Moreno "Il Biondo" Conficconi (Meldola, July 29) is an Italian musician and a virtuoso of the clarinet. In 1990, he joined Raoul Casadei's orchestra. For ten years, he was Raoul's right-hand man, the leader of the orchestra. In 1996, he sang and arranged the song "La terra dei cachi" by Elio e le Storie Tese, which was distributed as "La terra dei cachi (The Rimini Tapes).” In 2013 the Ravenna Festival entrusted him with the creation of "Secondo a nessuno," a tribute concert to Secondo Casadei. Riccardo Muti’s Y. Symphony Orchestra joined Moreno's own orchestra. On July 29, 2023 he was on stage at Rockin'1000 to play "Romagna mia," in front of 17,000 people alongside 1000 musicians. Co-founder of Extraliscio from 2014. Extraliscio was announced as a contestant at the Sanremo Festival 2021. On March 4 they debuted at the Sanremo Festival with "Bianca Luce Nera" with Davide Toffolo. Extraliscio composed the official song for the Giro d’Italia 103. In 2023, "La maschera ride" was released, the new song by Extraliscio with lyrics by Pacifico and Moreno Conficconi: the official song of the 150th Viareggio Carnival. In 2023, Moreno ended his artistic partnership with Mirco Mariani. In 2023, a new musical project by Moreno was born, aiming to explore the masterpieces of Italian folk music over the ages, from Secondo Casadei to the folk music of the post-war period. It is produced by Giovanni Amighetti with E-Wired Empathy and involves various musicians from different regions.
