As the founder of Trans Trenderz, mentioned in BillBoard's Change Agent list, Blxck Cxsper (they/them) is a transcender like none other. Their versatile and cultured sound, which they describe as “50 shades of Trap”, is largely influenced by different Hip Hop scenes around the world after having been raised in places such as Paris, France; Niamey, Niger, and Washington, DC. Since relocating to Montreal, Canada about a decade ago, Blxck Cxsper has made major waves in music, releasing 3 albums under the stage name ‘Lucas Charlie Rose’; but also in activism. As one of the first public trans-masculine rappers, they have broken down barrier after barrier. This is evident not only through their work founding Trans Trenderz: the world's first record label dedicated to trans musicians, but also in writing their own theatrical works as well as their advocacy.
