Biography

Martina Jembrišak (Zagreb, 1995) is an accordionist and bandoneonist, recognized for her precision, attention to detail, strong musical personality, and sense of musical expression (Cantus). Her most significant recognition came in 2020 when she was awarded the Ivo Vuljević Prize. Her repertoire spans music from the Baroque to the avant-garde, as well as orchestral, chamber, and tango music projects. She has expanded the contemporary accordion repertoire through a wide range of new projects, premiering over 60 works written specifically for her by composers from all continents. Martina has performed internationally, including at prestigious festivals such as the Ljubljana Festival, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, the Tirana Vox Baroque Festival, the Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina, the Hong Kong Contemporary Music Festival, Carniarmonie, and others.
