Coming from the age of the SoundCloud rappers. Royce dropped his first single Invidia Ft. Lil Eye in Oct 2013 under the stage name Murdaruss. But it wouldn’t be until the release of his first mixtape Dark Days and starting D&R Records a independent record label with artists Lil Eye, Black Dragon, Pyro, and STACA. Would he find minor success. While under D&R he would release The Relapse: Lost Tapes Cocaine casket, along with 2 Eps and would host 2 group mixtapes. He would take a break from the rap industry after the lost of his long time friend and founder of D&R Black dragon. D&R would fall apart during his absence. Now as an independent artist he has released the Dark Days Ep to pay homage to where it all started with plans to release his debut album by the end 2021 titled Hip-hop Made Me Do It
