Biography

J Phi, born Jordan Philip Dalton (9/12/1991), is a ghostwriter and rap artist from Jacksonville, Fl. In 2009, J Phi joined ALPHV & Graffiti in Black Pine of Mayport to form “The Black Tribe,” making waves in the Atlantic Beach area and gaining momentum opening for established local acts and mainstream artists such as Afroman, Jarren Benton, Caskey, ¡MAYDAY!, Nipsey Hussle, and more! Over years, Phi worked extensively with local Jax producers like Bluff Gawd as well as multi-platinum producers like Hottroundz Beats, Kato On The Track, Anno Domini Beats, Taysty Beats, and Wyshmaster Beats. Phi has built a list of features for Jax artists like BigRayTheRapper, Skam The Rapper, Wyldlife Chop, and the list goes on, earning co-signs from Duval’s biggest underground artists, such as G Mayne Frost, Lo White of Dapper Down, and Paten Locke, as well as Infamous Skizza Reyven who mentored Phi through “Infamous Mindz Productionz,” and Joey Tech of his duo, H3LLFIR3 & 6R1M$tON3. With support from Duval’s Hip Hop community and relationships built through his social media presence, Phi now has credits with artists like Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Obie Trice, Lex Bratcher, Loc-Saint, Blu, Bizarre, E-Money, JL B Hood, Jarren Benton, Futuristic, Twisted Insane, King Iso, Krizz Kaliko, Jehry Robinson, KamiKazi, Rittz, Twista, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, and Krayzie Bone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, as well as rising artists, AR.K and GTM YoungRocky. @infamousjphi - InstaGram & YouTube
