Biography

Sam Speirs is a Scottish singer songwriter. He's a multi-instrumentalist, recording and producing his own wide ranging music. "Some people call it Alternative, others Indie." He describes what he does as Local Organic Original Music (LOOM). A listen through his catalogue reveals influences from Rock, Americana, Indie Folk and traditional Scottish songs, Sam has been a published songwriter since he was 18 years old. As an artist and a writer he has appeared on national television in the UK and Europe. His song, "This Far" was licensed by CBS TV in the USA for use in the “Children of The Night” show. His songwriting cuts include artists such as RAF and The Studioz. Hard to pin down to a genre, his distinctive voice is the thing that ensures you always know who you’re listening to. For Sam, it’s all about the songs. Since 2015 he has been releasing music through his own company. Very LOOM.
