Homero Alvarez is a Sweden-based composer and guitar player with lots of different projects throughout his musical career. Raised up in a theater family developing the lust for telling stories with his music. Regardless of writing for a theater play, a TV/radio production, or songs to a band or singer, there is always a history that needs to be told. As a guitar player, he developed his works with the acoustic nylon guitar and had always a big love for Brazilian music. Today Homero is working with his own new septet called Homero Alvarez Sep7ett. It's a group with some of the best musicians from the Swedish jazz scene and the music is an instrumental up-tempo jazz fusion with Latin American styles. In this solo guitar project, he highlights the acoustic nearness of his music.
