Shalma Eliana, nicknamed Yana, is an upcoming pop R&B singer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 
 She started her musical journey in 2016 with short covers, gaining a strong follower base on social media, with some covers gathering over 600,000 views. She released her first single 'Janji Terindah', written by Malique Ibrahim in 2018, a sweet, summer road trip feel track. In 2019, Shalma released 'Mahukah Kamu', featuring Singaporean rap sensation Fariz Jabba, written by Alif. 'Mahukah Kamu' is a upbeat pop R&B song, aimed at female empowerment, with the lyrics calling for women to put themselves first. Through 'Mahukah Kamu', Shalma hopes to send the message that women can make their own decisions and stand their ground.
