Dutch hardcore rap supergroup Great Minds formed in 2013 when producer Dr. Moon (a disciple of Wu-Tang Clan's RZA) united well-known veteran MCs Jiggy Djé, Sticks, and Winne. The group teased its debut full-length with a series of online videos documenting the album's recording, along with single "Doag," featuring Kleine Viezerik and Yung Felix. Great Minds' self-titled debut album, a set of razor-sharp, no-nonsense hip-hop, was released by TopNotch in June of 2013. The release was an enormous commercial and critical success, hitting number two on the Dutch album charts, the highest-ever position for a Dutch-language hip-hop album. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
