Raised in North Burnaby "The Heights" B.C. and born in Montreal Quebec , Bruno Mendez comes from a Chilean family where he discovered his passion for art at an early age. At 19 he published his first comic book which he both wrote and illustrated. A new passion for writing was born and Bruno began to write poetry and create rap music. " B mendez " was the stage name of choice that kept close to his identity and "The Heights" was the first mixtape project ever released by the artist . From then on B Mendez collaborated with another local artist known as "Merkules" to create the hit known as " House Party " . The music video for the track was filmed by Stuey Kubrick in Kelowna B.C. , where B Mendez did his first large debut performance alongside Merkules at the Center of gravity music festival. Following up with years of many live performances working with " Where it's at Entertainment" winning the stret beats rap competition, opening up for Moka Only, the Merkules "Scars" album release party, Onyx, Swollen members, and performing at many other show cases around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. The YouTube channel of B Mendez displays the large amount of self investment he has put towards furthering his vision and connecting with a larger audience. 12 music videos, and "New Heights" the full length album and more recently 7 singles released in the last year B Mendez is becoming a polished MC and aiming to spread good vibes, positivity and life lessons through his music!
