California artist Baegod is known for being a pioneer of New Wave Indie R&B and Female Rap. She started the label Bedroomtrap with Producer & fellow artist Sbvce in 2013 while trying to come up with a name for their unorthodox style of R&B and Melodic Rap over Trap style production. She released her 2014 ep This Is What The Moon Sounds Like under the name Maryann. The ep spawned songs like The Long Way, Landing & Slow Ridin'. In Late 2014, she released Fuccboi which was her version of Drake hit 6 God. The song accumulated 4 million streams on Soundcloud and headed the trend on Fuckboy anthems & Dm sliding humor that eventually dominated the industry. Without a big commercial success, Baegod has brought in over 40 Million streams, much of it from her success on the Soundcloud platform. She & Sbvce continue to release boundary pushing music. As a duo they are known for their effortless back and forth rapping and singing over Sbvce's (Pronounced Space) 808 heavy and bass-line driven production. Their sound spans across R&B Trap, J Dilla inspired Boom bap to Funky California Future rap in the likes of the late Mac Dre. Baegod is also a Graphic artist, Videographer & producer.
