Innocent Cindi, affectionately known as IceeZA, is an amapiano producer/DJ from Vosloorus east of Johannesburg, South Africa. The passion for music started from a very young age for IceeZA, when he was 14 years, he took an active stand of learning how to deejay, which was a decision that would yield results because he started getting bookings whilst he was in high school to play at high school events. When he was 16 years, IceeZA was introduced to a software called “Fruity loops Studio” by a close friend who had a computer. His production journey began at that point and he would spend every opportunity he got at his friend’s house learning how to make beats. He started producing Amapiano in 2019 after the meteoric rise of the genre in the country. IceeZA only realised the impact of his unique Amapiano sound when he started going out into nightclubs in Vosloorus and hearing his music being played by most deejays. IceeZA continues to solidify his mark within the South African music industry, having recently signed to Hit Cartel Records in hope of growing his brand and exposing his music to a larger constituency.
