Born in California, Soul Point moved to Tucson, AZ when he was only four years old. The road trips to and from is what we'd call the beginnings of his love for music. Fleetwood Mac, Devin The Dude, Gregory Isaacs, Van Morisson, etc. He absolutely loved the feeling when putting on a pair of headphones. Over the years, different notebooks filled with songs written by SP would stay close to his side. It wasn't until age sixteen, in a small town east of Tucson, when the recording process began. Releasing music and learning the ups and downs through trial and error. Finding the struggles between performing, making a name for himself, as well as making a living in his town at 23, it was a "now or never moment" when the microphone was in front of him with his first "crowd ". Since then, the relentlessness towards taking a break has become the norm for Soul Point. Catchy hooks, unique verses and a true work ethic has allowed him to share the stage with artists such as Jarren Benton, Mark Battles & Evander Griiim. Fortunate to have headlined several performances, the consistency with his releases stands out and lets us know that SP isn't going to stop anytime soon!
