Growing up in a Toronto Housing neighborhood located In Toronto's West End, Shevy had to face adversity day in and day out. whether it be losing friends to gun violence or dealing with police profiling him because of where hes from pushed him to strive for a better life. Growing up in a single parent home. Shevy learned how to depend on himself to get things done.. In 2020 Shevy realized he wanted to be different and be a leader for his peers especially the ones coming from neighborhoods like his own. He then embarked on a new path musically, He decided he wasnt going to swear in his music any more, promote violence or degrade woman in any way but instead promote positivity and growth.
