 Alberto Crugnola was born in Varese. He has obtained classical guitar and lute diplomas at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" in Milan. He performs solo concert performances as soloist in Italy and abroad, devoting mainly to the deepening of a vast repertoire featured on the authors of the 1700s. As a continuist he collaborates with different instrumental and vocal groups. From 1996 to 2010 he was a member of the Medieval and Renaissance music group "Florilegio Ensamble", with whom he has recorded several recordings and numerous concerts in Italy and abroad. He made recordings for the Italian radio Radio 3, RSI Switzerland and the Estonian radio station. As a soloist for the Symphonia label, he recorded the “ Sei Sonate Op. I “ by Adam Falckenhagen, German baroque composer. He subsequently produced for the label Christophorus a collection of records dedicated to authors of German baroque. (S. L. Weiss, P. C. Durant, A. Falckenhagen, J. F. Kleinknecht, J. M. Kuhnel, R. Straube, J. F. Daube, E. G. Baron, D. Kellner and so on). For the label Novantiqua, he recorded: Bach Aufs Lauten Werk, complete work for lute by J.S.Bach; Weiss , works for solo lute by S.L.Weiss; Lautengalanterie, solo lute works by Baron, Falckenhagen, Hagen.
