Johannes Repka is a Berlin based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He studied guitar and arrangement in Mannheim and Weimar in Germany and is known for his awarded soundtracks for COMBAT GIRLS (Kriegerin), CLEO and SCHMITKE. Directors like David Wnendt, Pola Beck, Lars Montag and Andreas Dresen worked with him on international motion pictures. For the latter, he composed the music to The Legend of Timm Thaler, which has been nominated for the German Film Academy Award in the category of BEST MUSIC. 
Beside his engagement for film and his orchestral works, Johannes Repka is a performing live artist and played together with Christopher Dell, Rudi Mahall, Rainer Boehm, Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and many more... 
At the moment he is working with Ravi Srinivasan on a audiobook which will be released for the label Panda Me. His music for the film Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush (director: Andreas Dresen) will have it‘s premiere in the competition of the Berlinale 2022. Dreams Are Like Wild Tigers won the German Filmmusic Award 2022 (Copyright Foto by Anne Hornemann).
