ж a r t i s t - i n f o ж Dsompa is the Tibetan meaning for “flowing together”. I've been to my first psychedelic party during the Summer of 1999. And as you can imagine, being a bit of a freak already, I was bewitched immediately with the culture, art and those magic moments on the dance floor. Encouraged by Roland, a good friend of the Ruigoord Community in Amsterdam, I was playing my first DJ set in the squatted church turned dance-temple early 2007, the journey never stopped again. I was already into Cubase focussing on how to use Cubase and studied a lot of hours on mixing and synthesis to develop an authentic Dsompa vibe. My first EP release „Shinan“ came out in 2014 on Sangoma Records, followed by tracks and collaborations on labels such as Looney Moon, Sonica, Forestdelic, Hypnotique and Believe Lab. In 2016 I joined the new born Italian label "Believe Lab", as my good friend Govinda have been looking for friends/artists joining the family. In March 2020 my second EP „4 more drops" got released on Believe Lab. I was very lucky to be able to test it at least in Goa on some dance floors, before shit hit the fan. Suddenly just after coming back home from Goa, no one saw it coming, an outbreak of a pandemic world wide.
