Zambian born Jumbe Andrew Chinyonga grew up in two worlds. Between his Fathers' Jazz, Folk and Reggae influence and his peers' more contemporary tastes Andy Mez offers his lessons over a variety of subjects. He has been quietly involved in music production for over 10 years, writing, producing and engineering until 2020 when Abel Black pushed Andy back to recording and releasing music. Apart from working alongside Taz (Goemi Records), Israel, Name's Martian, Vincent Claudius and more, Andy has released four notable bodies of work. A solo project called Beautiful Mess, a follow-up project as part of rap duo Bad Meets Worse called Bad Attempts, a deeply honest EP called The Kids Are Depressed and most recently The New Kings of Lusaka. Andy Mez continues to create art, lessons and entertainment through his music.
