Late Night Final is the electronic side project of Public Service Broadcasting's J. Willgoose. His first record, released on 11 December 2020, was written and recorded during the lockdown of spring / summer that year when the recording sessions for PSB's fourth album were postponed. Finding himself in a different country from all of their equipment, he dug up some old synths, effects units and other unloved items and set about creating an immersive and atmospheric electronic album. 'A Wonderful Hope', released on PIAS, is the result.
