Rooftop Musicals, based in Sweden and founded in 2019, is a writing team for new musicals with original stories and strong melodies. Previous works include “Närmare Kanten” (Closer to the Edge), a family drama with a hidden secret and “Dead or Alive”, a musical about Kate Warne, the world’s first female private detective. Their latest production “Silverhjärtats Hemlighet” (The Secret of the Silver Heart) is a historical drama spanning over six centuries. A selection of songs from the show is now available for streaming on digital platforms. Among the performers on the album are many of Sweden’s finest musical theatre singers, such as Tuva B. Larsen, Hanna Lindblad, Niklas Hjulström and Vilhelm Blomgren.
