Naked Animals are a Rock band from Cork, Ireland known for their gripping stage shows and vibrant sound. Since their formation in 2018 the 5 piece have played some of Ireland and Europe’s leading festivals, such as Electric Picnic, Wilderness and Other Voices. In 2020 Naked Animals teamed up with platinum selling producer Cian Sweeney (1000 Beasts) to record their debut single ‘My Deepest Funk’ which was later released in April to wide acclaim. For the following 2 years the band went to work on their E.P ‘Business As Usual’ which was released in May 2022 featuring Irish Rap artist ‘0phelia’ and Limerick based Keyboardist and Producer Martin Atkinson (Siomha, Toucan). The E.P blends a mix of Pop, Funk and Rock which combined with a socio-political message, makes for a refreshing listen. The 4 track E.P is also accompanied by four highly creative and unique videos. Following on from their sold out shows in Whelans (Dublin), Coughlans (Cork) & Monroes (Galway) on their 2022 tour, the debut E.P ‘Business As Usual’ has attracted much attention and received regular National Radio play, including RTE Radio 1, Today FM and 2FM. Naked Animals are currently in the process of recording their debut album, which will feature a star-studded lineup and is due for release in 2023. More Tour Dates are set to be announced, including U.K. and European dates.
