Capeverdian house music DJ and producer, Dj Erick Neves built his career gradually over nearly 10 years. Reserved and intellectual, this young talent was born Erickson Gabriel Resende Neves on June 14, 1995, in Praia(Cabo Verde) and grew up surrounded by music, particularly influenced by his grandmother's extensive zouk/semba/morna collection. At the age of 17, after his parents' divorce, he moved to his hometown grandmother's house of Praia, the capital. Praia Eventos first events producer Erick begins to work with, in one of the best nightclubs at the time, FlameOut. Since then, Erick has always acted in this discos, fashion shows, sunsets, among others. At this point Erick was known by every club owner and events producers in that city. Erick wanted more from music, but Cabo Verde doesn't have professional music schools or even academies. In 2014 he's grandmother had a complicated disease that she has to move to Portugal for treatment. So Erick decided to move with his grandmother to help her and in order to study and professionalize what he most likes to do. In 2016 Erick entered a school for djs called Pro DJ having already completed the course and in the same year he started promoting himself in the Portuguese market. Next year he made a music composition and production course at Restart school. From then on Erick has invested in the production of originals that are currently on the largest digital streaming platforms.
