Rising pop artist HERDD is the product of Frankie Cote, who brews up diverse electro-pop with a focus on being unafraid to challenge genre norms. On his debut album 'Afterlife', snapshots of Cote's recovery from past mental health crises are navigated in a cathartic way, along with themes of sexual liberation and healing from past relationships. HERDD's unique take on songwriting has enabled him to work with multi-platinum award winning producer Rob Wells (Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber) and even earned him praise from Billboard as an artist similar to "early Gaga with shades of Daft Punk". The second single from the album 'Paranoia' charted at #13 on the iTunes Electronic Music chart in Canada. The album release party was at Le Ministère in Montreal and is followed up by a return to Canadian Music Week (CMW) in 2024; after debuting at CMW back in 2023.
