Multi-talented Los Angeles-based artist Dave Coresh has never wanted to be just a rapper; he has experience with production, songwriting, mix engineering, and creative direction. You may recognize him as the hilarious gas station clerk in Smino’s “Wild Irish Roses” video. As a solo act, Dave’s experimented with lofi R&B, mixtape rap and punk rock, opening for Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Tom Morello, and The Cool Kids along the way. His live performances demonstrate an electrifying stage presence and a passion for crowd interaction. Dave’s upcoming work deals with themes of struggles to communicate in the digital age, overcoming self-doubt, losing out on love and more. His debut EP SMOKENMIRRORS features thunderous drums, thrashing guitars and anthemic “no fucks given” choruses. Dave puts on a lyrical clinic throughout the record, making it clear that he got his start as a battle rapper. Stunning visuals courtesy of Zoodeville tell a story of perseverance.
