Joroll (Joel Ratcliff) is an Australian artist with his roots set in the folk scene. At a young age, Joroll found a liking in guitar, drums, bass, and singing. With time (a lot of time) he finally put out his first Spotify release “mango juice under the sun.” Which is a Lo-Fi track? Why? I don’t know… Joroll doesn’t know… but regardless, it did pretty well. So he tried different genres ranging from cheesy Pop songs (Runaways,) all the way to gut wrenching trap songs (ik its hard, but its worth it.) However, after all trials and tribulations Joroll landed back where he started. Folk…(kind of.) Starting with the release “I saw the sun,” Joroll started to create songs that truely resonated with him, which led to the release of “Dreamstate Heartbeat,” and eventually Stick 'n poke (his latest and greatest.)
