Biography

Stephen Bradley is a trumpeter, singer, songwriter, and successful alternative rock session and touring musician best known as a longtime trumpeter/keyboardist/backing vocalist for chart toppers No Doubt. The California native began playing trumpet in school at age 13, and first worked with No Doubt in 1995 while in his early twenties. In addition to several of that band's albums, he appeared on Green Day's Nimrod (1997), No Doubt lead vocalist Gwen Stefani's 2006 solo album, The Sweet Escape (and resulting tour), Smashing Pumpkins' 20th anniversary tour (2008), and Bush's Man on the Run (2014), among other collaborations. His work has also appeared on television shows including American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. After nearly 20 years of recording and touring with No Doubt, Bradley released his first solo EP, Runaways, in 2015. Combining elements of modern pop and R&B, experimental electronic, and jazz, Bradley sang and played multiple instruments (including trumpet) on the harmony-rich recording, with songs inspired by his adopted home of Hollywood. ~ Marcy Donelson, Rovi
