Founded in 2012 by DJ and producer Erik Groen, Moombahteam blended dancehall, reggaeton, house, bubbling, and moombahton into an infectious sound. With a talented MC and lyricist on board, Moombahteam quickly built a big following. Their music resonated widely, with features on Dutch radio giants like Radio 538 and SLAM! FM, and high-energy performances that took them across Europe and Asia. Moombahteam has since retired from performing, but their tracks are still played by DJs worldwide. While they won’t return to the stage, the possibility of new music isn’t completely off the table because for Erik, music will forever be the heartbeat of his journey.
