Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera (TSO) delivers powerful musical experiences and is a powerhouse in central Norwegian cultural life. The orchestra conveys a wide range of music at a high artistic level. This is how we contribute to promoting and developing the general interest in music both locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera currently consists of 86 permanent musicians. In addition to classical symphony concerts, the TSO has a varied activity that includes opera, contemporary music, first performances, early music, chamber music, popular concerts educational activities and talent development, projects for children and young people. Our chief conductor is Han-Na Chang.
