Jens Jakob started producing music when he was about 13-14 years old. Some years later in 2011 he decided to start releasing his music. After a few releases he started having some releases on TFB Records where he released mainly Progressive- and Uplifting Trance which was the first time he got a lot of support from DJ´s and radios. In 2013 Jens wanted to go in a different direction and worked, and still do, more with Psy and Tech Trance. Around the same time he started releasing on Christopher Lawrence’s label Pharmacy Music and also started his own label Unique Sound Records. After a lot of releases and two trance solo albums, he became a well known name in the trance scene and where played by DJ´s such as Paul Oakenfold, Christopher Lawrence, Paul Van Dyk, Jordan Suckley, Arctic Moon, Lisa Lashes and many more. Around 2017-2018 started doing other electronic music than trance and in 2019 Jens started on Royal Academy Of Music in Aalborg and went deeper into depths with his electronic music. After he released the downtempo album ‘Special’ in 2020 and the house album ‘JJ Island’ in 2021 he started doing more techno music and also started his 2 new solo projects ‘Tækno’ Jens and ‘Slambert’. Tækno Jens is Jens Jakob's new main project where he makes and performe hypnotic, hard, industrial, funky & techy electronic music. Where Slambert is more downtempo yet sometimes chaotic electronic music with techno elements. After 300 tracks and 5 albums is he still going strong in 2022!
