Four albums in, Black Star Riders are due to let loose the fifth incarnation of their unique musical prowess with their upcoming album, 'Wrong Side Of Paradise'. The band entered the studio in Autumn 2021 with their GRAMMY-nominated long-term producer Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Uriah Heep, Anthrax, Steel Panther) to record the follow-up to 2019's 'Another State of Grace’ in Los Angeles at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 (“a fantastic experience, a wonderful studio with an amazing sounding live room. The rock 'n' roll history that is well documented and ingrained in the vintage Neve Console there is spine tingling,” enthuses Warwick) and at Christian Martucci's Toochtone Sound in Bend, OR. In discussing the spirit of the album, Warwick states: “As with all BSR albums, Wrong Side Of Paradise is an anthemic statement of intent, driven by ferocious guitars and thundering drums. I can only write about my own personal experiences, my families, my friends and how I see a world that is unravelling and changing faster than we can comprehend. That being said, I’m a firm believer in the power of positivity, something that echoes throughout this album.” “One of the things I am most proud of about Black Star Riders is our relevance. We make music because it matters and it matters because it’s a universal language.” 'Wrong Side Of Paradise' will be released on 20th January 2023 via Earache Records.
