Dr. Blues

Biography

Daniele Giugno is an Italian jazz guitarist and composer, based in Northern Italy. He begun his path at the age of 11, as a self-taught musician. His passion allowed him to achieve many degrees, first at the NAM in Milan as performer of modern music, then at the prestigious Civic Courses of Jazz in Milan, in the Level I an Level II degree in jazz guitar, under the wing of Roberto Cecchetto and Franco Cerri. During his career he shared the stage with many other artists of the Italian and international jazz scene, such as Steven Berstein, Franco Cerri (also appearing in a documentary film on his life, "L’uomo in Bemolle", with the participation of Fabio Concato), Riccardo Bianchi, Marco Vaggi, Rodney Waterman. He played in several jazz and bossanova projects as a guitarist, also working on his own project, which will soon lead to the publication of his first work, "Equilibrio", in November, 2020. Dr. Blues, the first single from "Equilibrio", is now available in all digital stores.
