Biography

Jessica Wilde bares all with some brutally honest lyrics, melding her sharp-witted lyricism through spoken word/rap alongside her more familiar husky and soul searing singing vocals. A native of South London, Wilde’s debut project, fully exposed her authentic expression, with each song like diary entries, taking us on a journey through mad parties, escapism, addiction, toxic relationships to a commitment to self-love, empowerment and living sober. Wilde now returns with her album 'Teach Me How To Love', where we witness her transformation through empowering themes and an exploration of love. Wilde has picked up serious heat across BBCRadio with regular airplay on Radio 1 'Future Artists' w/ Jack Saunders and Jess Iszatt, 6Music, 1Xtra, BBCRLondon, BBCIntroducing and features in CLASH, Complex, The Independent, Wonderland, 1883 and more. Gained editorial playlists across the board from Spotify, Apple, TIDAL, YouTube and Pandora. She’s collaborated with Rudimental, Emeli Sande, grammy award winner Kizzo, Todd Terry, Tough Love and this summer she set to grace the stage of Glastonbury, Camp WildFire and Soultown Fest opening for Earth Wind and Fire. Not only that but Wilde created PxSSY PWR, a platform for female artists on the rise, with a residency at the iconic Hootananny Brixton, clothing line with Fame Magazine, Radio show and this summer PxSSY PWR returns to Secret Garden Party Festival, to take over the Noiroganica stage.
