Azlan Makalima (born Mzwamadoda Makalima on 12 September) is a rap artist and music entrepreneur from Makhanda, South Africa. He is the founder of Makenik Music Group, a South African independent record label based in Eastern Cape. He oversees content from various artists like Scarface Kay, Zizi the Rapper, Elements Himself and Imibono. He has produced for artists such as Unathi Gotyana and Zizi the Rapper. Makalima is a presenter at Rhodes Music Radio. He started recording his music in 2007 with Heavy-K, where he worked on a joint EP under Third Force trio from Gqeberha. Azlan collaborated with an international band from Finland, where he was featured on two songs from The Winestones album. His latest single titled 'Yah Yah' shook the Eastern Cape streets when he premiered the song on Cape Town TV.
