Chantal Celine is a singer/songwriter and indie producer based in Gatineau, Québec. Whimsical and heartfelt lyrics, with layers of reverberant background vocals and synth instruments are her specialty. Chantal loves to combine acoustic and electric elements, often pairing a beautifully rich piano with a driving synth bassline or indie drum kit. She writes, records, and produces all of her music, making each song authentically her. Chantal loves intentional and clever lyrics that paint a picture, drawing from her real life experiences and feelings. Oftentimes, she uses one small idea or feeling to create a whole world where her songs exist. Using music to untangle her thoughts and emotions in a tangible form, Chantal’s songs create snapshots in time that can be stepped back into. Chantal has been writing songs for nearly 15 years, and won second place in her first songwriting contest at 11 years old. She received her bachelor of music with honours in Integrated Musical Arts in 2021, and has since released 5 singles and 3 EPs. This November, she will release her Christmas EP, “Immanuel” - a small collection of cozy and traditional holiday tunes infused with Chantal's creative style.
