The Bard known as Bart Zeal is a druidic composer and lyricist from The Netherlands. With his fantasy-folk style, he gives ancient Pagan traditions a modern twist and appeals to his audience with stories about fairytale worlds. He plays music to give the listener a melodic respite from the mundanity of everyday life by connecting his audience with lost voices from a distant past. After dedicating the year 2023 to Druidry and the "Eightfold Wheel of the Year", his music has shifted towards Bardic teachings to help nurture the singer, the artist, and the storyteller within him. In an effort to connect deeper with the world around him, Bart continues to live by the ways of Druidry; receiving major inspiration from mythical tales of The Otherworld and attending the eight ceremonies of the year. While crafting music to share and enhance his beliefs, he has not forgotten his roots and continues to create songs that cover themes in medieval fantasy pop culture; drawing inspiration from films, books, and video games in this genre.
