Dafydd Hedd is an up and coming welsh indie rock and dance artist from the hills of Snowdonia. Signed to Bryn Rock Records in 2022 and played on Capital, Radio Cymru and BBC Radio Bristol with releases planned throughout the entire year. Characterised by his gritty voice, powerful vocal performance and storytelling behind the songs, expect a rollercoaster where you can feel like you’re in the basement of a sticky indie gig night and then in the next minute be on a dance floor in a hazy nightclub. The 20 year old gigs up and down the country sharing Welsh music with the world, a culture that needs to be cherished. The songs are usually a dichotomy of hope and fear inspired by political and social events with a personal touch. When he’s not gigging or writing, you’ll find him studying Economics at Bristol University or travelling around the world for inspiration and enlightenment, seeking discomfort.
