These influences form the blueprint of her sound, allowing Nyla to seamlessly blend R&B, Soul and Neo Soul enriched with a distinctive Black British cadence. Nyla’s music is a reflection of her personal experiences, characterised by a raw and honest vulnerability that resonates deeply with her listeners. She doesn't shy away from sharing her stories, using her lyrics to forge a profound connection with her audience. Additionally, her songs often carry a spiritual undertone, further enhancing their emotional impact. The remix of Nyla Kwaga's song 'One of One,' produced by JTJ Productions, premiered on BBC Introducing 1Xtra with Theo Johnson, marking an exciting milestone in her musical journey. Nyla also lent her background vocals to Flohio's acclaimed album 'Out of Heart,' which led to her live debut as a background vocalist at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival, Park Stage 2023.
