The "Merakey Collective" is a group of Swiss producers dedicated to the production of music for breaking battles. The collective was formed during the 2020 Covid lockdown through an exchange between B-Boy Slimspin from Biel and DJ OB One, with the idea of a "Swiss Allstar Breakbeat Compilation". Today, the "Merakey Collective" consists of 8 producers and DJs from Switzerland who specialize in the production and release of music for b-boys and b-girls. Since 2020, they have already released seven projects that have reached a total of over 1 million streams on all streaming platforms. Their songs have been featured on the official soundtrack of the prestigious Battle of the Year breakdance event and DJs have used them at battles from Brazil to Japan.
