Timothy Sharp was born and raised in Germany. Being a classically trained baritone, he sang at many big venues in Germany like the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin, Münchner Staatsoper, Oper Köln, Staatstheater Karslruhe and abroad, like San Carlo di Napoli, La Fenice and many more. He appeared at the Musikverein Vienna, the Salle Pleyel in Paris, or at the Styriarte Festival under the baton of Nicolaus Harnoncourt and sang with illustrous other conductors. His great love belongs to the German Lied which is why most recordings of him are in this repertoire. He is also a composer of choral music and piano music for Children.
