xSipping (born 16 September 1993) is a South African music producer and sound engineer based in Soweto.With a musical background (his brother has the biggest choir in Orlando East) it came as no surprise when xSipping pursued music. He was first introduced to a beat making software called Fruity Loops Studio (FL Studio) by a friend in 2008. He taught himself how to use the software and in 2014 he released his first EP The Beatsmith Chapters: Unlocking Sounds. And went on to release 4 more instrumental tapes before the well received project Butter 2 which he collaborated with Vosloorus based artists ASAP Shembe and Fireman.Thereafter xSipping went on to produce a song where artist Bergie Fresh featured Emtee. He then worked on the following collaborative projects : Lost and Free with Thomas Hazey, 1992 with Fireman R5, Amerekere by ASAP Shembe where he produced 2 songs. And recently his debut album UMTHALA. UMTHALA which means galaxy when translated. UMTHALA is made up of the newly created Nguni Energy genre which is made up of kwaito, hip hop, jazz, mbaqanga, funk, maskandi and township pop. The album also has subtle sounds of trap. xSipping's talents are not limited to just music producing, he is also a sound engineer and composes music scores. His versatile sound has allowed him the opportunity to work with various artists such as Jonny Joburg, Mashayabhuqe and Roc Nation’s Young Paris just to name a few.
