Lucas Brito, born on February 5, 1993, is a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and music producer from Nova Friburgo/RJ. He started his musical studies at the age of 8 in his hometown. He studied flute with renowned professors such as Eduardo Monteiro (UFRJ) and Danilo Mezzadri (USA). He studied performance and jazz with Eduardo Neves and Idriss Boudrioua. He performed as a solo flutist in the Marine Corps Symphonic Band, where he remained for 7 years, and throughout his career, he also accompanied several MPB artists and groups such as Zélia Duncan, Alcione, Hamilton de Holanda, Conjunto Época de Ouro, Grupo Semente, Diogo Nogueira, Xande de Pilares, Arlindo Cruz, Dudu Nobre, 3030, Emicida, among others. He participated in several musicals in Brazil and recordings and soundtracks for soap operas and series on Rede Globo: “Babilônia” (2015), “Pega Pega” (2017), “Tempo de amar” (2017), “Orgulho e Paixão” (2018), “Ilha de Ferro” (2018), “Éramos Seis” (2019). He performed in Germany, Switzerland, France, Portugal and Spain. As a soloist, at the Duc des Lombards in Paris, and at the Clube do Choro in Lisbon. He currently resides in the city of Manaus, Amazonas, and dedicates himself to a work of compositions for band, orchestra and brazilian instrumental music.
