Jacob J Tirado, better known by his artist name, Mystic, is a 21 year old artist hailing out of South Jersey in a small town called, Little Egg Harbor. Mystic began making music at just 14 years old and eventually decided to make music his career as recent as 2021! Mystic began his musical journey at first by making beats on GarageBand on his school laptop then rap over them but never publishing them. During his younger years, he struggled with anxiety, PTSD, and Depression and always struggled to express his feelings until he started to write them down. His writings turned into poems, and eventually became melodies. In 2021, Mystic started uploading his music to YouTube. And none of them were seen until his song Ride With Me, though not the best, gained him some attraction; hitting over 15,000 plays on YouTube in two weeks. As recent as of March, 2023 he released a song featuring another South Jersey artist, Teenonami (Tahj Edwards) called ‘Afraid’ which gained him even more traction because of the word play, and change of flow. Soon following another track featuring Teenonami as well as North Jersey Artist Skinnyfromthe9 (David Villegas) called OUT THE MUD! Which got 6,000 plays in the first three days! Mystic now works with Teenonami under Popular Outcast Management.
