Richard Turner who also goes by the sage name Ric G is a seasoned American Hip-hop artist and entrepreneur born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Ric G started his musical experience at the age of 12, when he alongside his cousins made music playfully by hitting old paint buckets in a drumming style while making lyrical sounds in their grandma’s back yard. RIC G always had a strong passionate love for music as far back as he could remember. Growing up through the 80s and 90s, when hip-hop was coming into a world of its' own, he couldn't help but be influenced by artist such as N.W.A, Public Enemy, 2Pac, Ghetto Boys and other hip-hop artiste making music at the time. However, he started taking his musical ability seriously while serving a 12-year prison term in Missouri Department of correction in 2000. Subsequently, since his release in 2007, Ric G has expressed determination and admirable passion by actively pursuing his mission in establishing his footprints in the St. Louis hip-hop scene
