Shizzmane, born Rashaad Robinson, is an anomaly. To label him as a rapper would be an understatement. The Detroit-based artist produces, engineers, and performs the vocals for all of his music to date. Growing up with his mother, a well-known spoken word artist, singer and rapper and his father, a skilled DJ, Shizzmane draws influence from Bob Marley, John Lennon, Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West. 
 A graduate of the famed Detroit School of Arts, Early on in school, Shizzmane realized his passion for music, changed his major from art to music tech, founded The Zoo Music Group (TZMG) label with Zu’ and released his first project the Daily Tape in 2013. After high school, Shizzmane began making beats, recording his own music, and performing around Detroit. Music quickly became a full-time job as artists around the city desired his authentic sound. From 2017-2019 Shizzmane put on the underground open-mic event, Vibes Uplifted at Pros Studio, that would build the foundation for his loyal fan base without actually releasing music. Shizzmane used this space to refine his performance and DJ skills and give other artists a space to network and share their music. On January 8, 2021 Shizzmane released his long-awaited debut album NINE. The project immediately received acclaim, as it showcases the artist’s melodic prowess over heavy 808s and synth with energetic drums. Shizzmane is currently working on his follow up project, God Given, expected to release late 2021.
