Biography

Ale Medina, an esteemed Reggaeton/Urban Latino artist, was born in El Salvador, where he commenced his music career in 2006 as a DJ-Producer. Initially known as Jc El Artezzano, Ale Medina's musical journey took him to different genres such as EDM and Hip-Hop. However, his passion for Reggaeton music was ignited during the 2000s, where he found inspiration in artists such as Tego Calderón and Vico C, ultimately leading him to pursue a career as a Reggaeton singer in the United States.
In 2008, Ale Medina joined forces with Javiel to form the duo, Javiel & Jc. The duo soon signed with the prestigious "La Comisión PR" record label and gained recognition in the industry, collaborating with the Puerto Rican duo, Layton & Jaziel, on the song "Tu Recuerdo," which turned out to be one of the first Salvadoran songs promoted on the famous pages of "FlowHot" and "iPauta." Moreover, the duo's collaboration with singer and producer Danni Six on their hit song "Vuelve" further elevated their status.
Following the duo's separation in late 2011, Ale Medina GTM continued to pursue his solo career, collaborating with various artists such as Oziel, JL Beat, Mafu Crew and more. His talent and contributions to the industry have been acknowledged over the years, with nominations for the ‘Urban Artist of the Year’ and ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 2019.
